To transport service users between their own homes and our premises, on outings and to appointments as required, some of which may mean travel outside Calderdale. Volunteers may drive our company vehicles or opt to use own vehicle for individual transport. You will need to be aged between 21 and 70 and have a full driving licence. Training will be given as necessary
To provide escort duties in company vehicles or private transport to aid service users between their own homes and our premises, on outings and to appointments as required – some of which may mean travel outside Calderdale. Some knowledge of working with adults with physical disabilities will be advantageous. Training will be given as necessary
Day Centre Volunteer
To assist staff and volunteers with a range of duties in our day centre. Duties will include meeting and greeting, assisting with activities, making and serving refreshments, washing up and general tidying. Training will be given as necessary
To assist the Business Manager using a variety of methods to raise funds for the service. Duties could include assisting with planning and organising activities and events; maintaining good relationships with funders, donors and sponsors; assisting with and developing appropriate marketing including use of social media
